Bio: Where kindness and compassion meets you :)

I graduated from the University of Michigan - Flint where I received my Bachelors of Science in Applied Psychology and Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. I have had the pleasure to work with a diverse group of individuals in my upcoming years. I have experience working with youth and adults that experience chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and PTSD utilizing Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and other forms of therapy such as Art, Music, and more.

My practice is grounded in the belief that every person deserves dignity, respect, and equitable access to resources and opportunity. My approach is strong foundation in cultural competence. I strive to create a safe space, empowering spaces where clients can share and become leaders within themselves. By active listening and collaboration with my clients, I aim to address systemic barriers and promote fair solutions that impact client lives positively.

I am particularly passionate about youth empowerment, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and racial equity and actively involved in community outreach programs, professional development, and youth academic programming. My commitment to continuous learning ensures that my practice will evolve in response to the needs of the communities I serve.

Lastly, I want to thank you for being where you are with me, I know it takes a lot to be here. I hope to be where kindness and compassion meets someone like you.
