I graduated from SVSU in 2009 with a Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice and began working in child welfare as a foster care case manager prior to transitioning to being an adoption worker and later to becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocacy Supervisor. I loved my time working with these youth and families but had a desire to help families even further. With that desire in mind, I went back to Saginaw Valley State University where I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work. I have experience working with college students who required assistance with access or accommodations to be successful during their college experience. I have experience working with adolescents and individual adults who are experiencing various mental health issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also work with couples who are struggling with communication, infidelity, and creating a plan to work through separation and co-parenting.
