Sarah views the counseling process as a collaborative journey in which she can work together with clients to find the answers that they are looking for. She has a passion for supporting the mental health needs of adolescents, adults, and families. She believes that therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and respect are a key factor in effective counseling. She is passionate about creating a counseling environment that is warm and welcoming for all. 

Sarah is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. She completed her Master of Arts in counseling at Spring Arbor University. She has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education, which included experience working with culturally and developmentally diverse individuals. She has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, individual adults and families. Sarah also has training in art therapy, trauma, CBT, perinatal mental health, women’s issues and mindfulness. 

In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, traveling, arts and crafts, hiking and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
