I graduated from Michigan State University with my MSW with an undergraduate background in Psychology and childhood development. My entire life I have been incredibly passionate about working with children and understanding the ins and outs of child behavior and development. I am also an EMDRIA approved therapist and utilize EMDR to assist in processing trauma.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients in a variety of settings, such as school settings, child welfare, and community mental health with a focus on work with children. I have experience working with children and adults impacted by the foster care system, clients with ASD and cognitive impairments, and clients who may be experiencing some challenging life changes.

I am currently pursuing certification in play therapy, though I have already been implementing these techniques in my work. These trainings and experiences have drawn me to my passion of working with neurodivergent children and adults utilizing a neurodivergency affirming approach. I believe my experience as a neurodivergent provider provides a unique perspective and passion for working with the neurodivergent population.

My goal as a therapist is to help alleviate life’s circumstances and assist you in developing the skills to effectively navigate life. Sometimes these circumstances can cause us to feel overwhelmed, but these are not situations you have to maneuver on your own. Now more than ever it is essential to take the necessary steps to preserve your mental health.
