Life presents with many challenges and unforeseen events. Life stressor’s impact us all in different ways and times in our life. It is my desire to help others navigate through times of trauma and stress. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. The ultimate goal is for my clients to achieve balance, establish healthy relationships and boundaries in their life. I strive to create a safe space for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation or cultural background.

Therapy is a very individualized process. I don’t use a cookie cutter approach. I feel my primary strength as a therapist, is meeting individuals where they are at in life and support them through any current stressors. In treatment, I feel that clients are the experts and that therapy is a partnership. It is my role to listen, provide a supportive and informative environment while assisting clients in making healthy life choices.

I utilize several different modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Therapy. My educational background includes Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University and a Bachelors in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. In addition, I am a Certified Trauma Professional and Certified Clinical Anxiety Professional.
