Often, we face challenges that will stagnate our growth. But with the appropriate connections, we can become empowered to work through the barriers in our day-to-day lives. I will be honored to aid individuals with navigating the trails of individualized healing and recovery. My goal is to show compassion and empathy, to build and strengthen each therapeutic relationship in a non-judgmental atmosphere. I will demonstrate this by practicing active listening to make an individual feel heard and understood.
For the past 11 years of my career, I have experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults, individuals with mental illness, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma, domestic violence, grief/loss, relationship/marital issues, and substance abuse. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University.
There is power in the right connections.
