Entering college as a nontraditional student, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University with majors in Sociology and Psychology and minors in History and Biology. I went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop the tools they need to become who they envision themselves at their best.

My experience includes working with adults of all ages and backgrounds, youth who have endured extreme trauma, youth and adults who experienced the foster care system, and individuals navigating the justice system. I’ve also worked extensively with adults challenged with mental health disorders (depression and anxiety), issues related to substance use, domestic violence and familial issues.

I am committed to helping people of all ages and believe that everyone has the potential to change the course of their lives. My aim is to help clients process trauma, learn to regulate their emotions, and build coping skills. Utilizing person-centered and strengths-based modalities I assist individuals to recognize and use their strengths to build self-confidence.

I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable receiving the help they have been looking for in a non-judgmental environment. I am committed to helping people build resiliency and strength as they navigate life on life’s terms; building the life they want for themselves.
